Hello CNJers,
The first contest of the year and we all
lucked out with awesome waves and even the weather worked with us and provided
mild, sunny conditions right up until the last few heats.
Excellent surfing was had by all,
showing great expectations for the rest of 2008.
There a few issues that need to be addressed, that will help make our
events run even smoother ….
1) if you free surf in the contest area during a
heat, you will lose all of your point for that contest … this will be
strictly enforced … contest 1 was a warning
2) NO changing of rash guards,
division(s), or replacing a withdrawn contestant
3) if you sign up for a contest …
unless you have a doctor’s note or death in the family … you
will get last place points and NO forwarding of entry fees
4) if you sign up on the beach,
it is $35 PER division and you MUST have your payment in hand at the sign
up table …Note: you have until the Thursday 12:00 pm before the
contest to use the online system and we will except mailed entries that
Friday. If your entry is not
received by either time deadline … YOU must pay the beach entry fee
the day of the event
5) if you are in back to back
heat’s (WILLIE) it is your responsibility to exit the water in time
and change your rash guard for the next heat.
